I have been using this Ponds Charcoal face wash from the time it was available as Ponds Pure White Anti Pollution Activated Charcoal face wash. Over time, its packaging and name have changed along with new improved formula. Ponds Pure Detox Charcoal face wash claims to brighten and deep cleanse your skin and get rid of pollutants and impurities that are accumulated on your face during day time. MY EXPERIENCE WITH PONDS PURE DETOX POLLUTION CLEAR ACTIVATED CHARCOAL FACE WASH
Ponds Pure Detox Activated Charcoal face wash comes in black and white colored opaque tube with flip to open cap. Cap shuts tightly and you need to use some mild force to open the product. Ponds charcoal face wash is grey in color due to presence of charcoal in it. It has thick cream consistency which spreads very easily with sharp typical Ponds fragrance which is present in most of its products. Ponds Pure Detox face wash is available in sizes of 50 g, 100 g, 150 g and 200 g. You can pick any size depending on your preference but I will recommend to buy small size first if you are trying it out for first time.
I like using Ponds Detox Charcoal face wash because it cleans my face well and get rid of oil and dirt on face completely. It also gives temporary brightness instantly and my skin look clear and glowing after using this face wash. Since it has creamy formula, only a small quantity is enough for my whole face. It foams very well and leave my skin squeaky clean after I use this face wash. It is an affordable face wash that can be used on daily basis especially for those who have normal to oily skin.

Ponds Charcoal face wash was one of my favourite face wash before but since its newly improved formula, it is proving to be drying for my skin as compared to before. I have normal skin which is bit on oilier side in summers and dry in winters. I really don’t know why they changed its formula as I liked the old formula much better. Although it still cleanse well and I use moisturizer if my skin feels dry after using this face wash, but still I liked old Ponds Anti Pollution Charcoal face wash much more. Also it gives only temporary brightness, so for all those who are looking out for face wash that will clear pigmentation, certainly Ponds Detox Activated Charcoal face wash is not meant for you.

Yes, I will absolutely recommend to purchase Ponds Pure Detox Pollution Clear Activated Charcoal face wash to all those who are looking out for face wash that cleans their face well in affordable price. But due to its drying formula, I will certainly not recommend it to dry skinned beauties. I will repurchase in in future until I find an affordable option better than this.
