MY EXPERIENCE WITH LA SHIELD SUNSCREEN GEL SPF 40 PA+++
La Shield Sunscreen Gel SPF 40 PA+++ comes in white colored metal squeeze tube with golden colored cap. Packaging is basic and nothing fancy. Texture of La Shield Sunscreen gel is very smooth and creamy and completely disappears into skin when applied. Except protecting from sun exposure, it also hydrates and moisturizes skin. La Shield Sunscreen Gel is very hydrating sunscreen so you will not need moisturizer with it especially in summers. I don’t know why this sunscreen has gel in its name because it has cream formula that is very nourishing.
I liked the fact that La Shield Sunscreen Gel SPF 40 PA+++ does not give white cast to skin when applied. Most sunscreens give ashy look on face because of high SPF in them. But I did not face such problem with La Shield Mineral sunscreen. Other factor that persuaded me to buy this sunscreen was it is free of alcohol and preservatives. Also La Shield claims this is a water resistant sunscreen which make it an ideal choice for swimming or water sports.

I liked La Shield sunscreen and felt after using it for weeks that it does provide decent protection from harmful sunrays. I did not face any tanning when I wore La Shield SPF 40 sunscreen outdoors. But due to its hydrating nature, I prefer to wear this sunscreen more in cold season rather than hot summers. For summers, I feel Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock work better for me. However it is a personal choice, still I will recommend women with oily skin should skip it in summers or wear it alone without combining with moisturizer. Else La Shield sunscreen will make your skin really oily.

Yes I will absolutely recommend La Shield Sunscreen Gel SPF 40 PA+++ to all men and women who are looking for hydrating sunscreen that protect their skin well. It is a good sunscreen to use for face as well as body. Although a bit expensive, yet the broad spectrum protection it provides with skin hydration make it worth the price. I will certainly repurchase La Shield Sunscreen for myself in future as I really found it to be a good sunscreen for use in winters.
