Hello all! Today I am going to review Indus Valley hair colour that I started using recently. As I am in my late twenties, I have started seeing few strands of grey hair in my long straight hair. I have tried few herbal mehndis and hair colors before but I was looking for a natural hair color that is free of toxic chemicals and also lasts long on hair. I am not very fond of mehndi or hair colour application process and don’t want to repeat it more than once in a month. INGREDIENTS
Aloe Vera– Hydrates and nourishes hair, adds shine and luster

HOW TO USE?
Step 1 – Wear the gloves (provide in the box). Take a glass or a plastic bowl and pour one hair colour powder sachet + full one Aloe Orange gel tube. Mix well.
Step 2 – Use brush ( provided in the box) and apply the mixture to new growth or gray hair first and then to rest of the hair taking a few strands at a time. Using your gloved fingers, work the mixture into each section well from scalp to ends so that its reaches to deepest hair roots and allow the mixture to stay on your hair for a minimum span of 30-45 minutes.
Step 3 – Rinse your hair with water thoroughly and prefer Indus Valley Aloe Colour protective shampoo for shampooing your hair.
Step 4 – Finally use Hair – Eaze Conditioning Mask (provided in the box) for soothening and conditioning of hair. Rinse and dry hair properly with a towel.

mY EXPERIENCE WITH INDUS VALLEY GEL HAIR COLOUR
Indus Valley hair colour comes in rectangular shaped cardboard box with contents and instruction leaflet inside. Inside pack, you will find aloe orange gel in tube packaging that you must mix with herbal hair colour powder present in sachets. There are also sachets of Colour protective shampoo, Hair – Eaze conditioning mask, applicator brush with comb and one pair of gloves inside box too. I liked the detailing of Indus Valley brand that it provides all things that you will need for applying hair colour. Indus Valley hair colour is available in 4 different shades, Black 1.00, Dark Brown 3.00, Medium Brown 4.00 and Light Brown 5.00
Indus Valley solves so many problems that comes with application of hair color. First of all, Indus Valley hair colour has orange smell instead of chemical smell that almost all hair colors have. Second, it is free of harsh chemicals and gives long lasting hair color with added shine. I used small trial pack before, and hence mixed whole aloe orange gel tube with colour sachet powder in one go. I then used applicator brush comb to part my hair and then applied this mixture on my long straight hair evenly. I used both applicator brush and gloves so that Indus Valley hair colour can be applied to all strands of hair.
Indus Valley Colour Protective Shampoo and Hair Mask
You can also take help of provided leaflet that has instructions written in both English and Hindi language that how you must apply the colour. I left Indus Valley hair colour on my hair for almost one hour before washing it off with normal water and Indus Valley Colour Protective shampoo. Finally, I applied Hair Eaze nourishing mask for 5-10 minutes before rinsing it again with normal water. I loved how silky and detangled my hair looked post wash. Usually when I use mehndi or hair colour on my hair, my hair become dry and brittle which did not happen with this hair color.

Indus Valley hair colour gave me nice coior pay off that lasted for a month on my hair. Along with hair color, I totally loved the shampoo and nourishing mask provided with it. Colour Protective shampoo gently cleansed my hair while Hair-Eaze fermented rice conditioning mask provide all the nourishment that my hair needed after applying hair colour. I also liked small cute applicator brush which work as comb too. Indus Valley claims that there is no increase in grey hair after using this natural hair color which usually happens with other hair dyes. Overall, my experience with Indus Valley Gel hair colour was really good and I cannot find any con in this hair colour.

Yes, I will absolutely recommend to purchase Indus Valley hair colour to all men and women who suffer from grey hair and are looking for natural solution that give long lasting color but also don’t harm their hair. I was also apprehensive to buy it since I found Indus Valley hair colour a bit expensive as compared to other hair color. However, after using it, I am really happy and satisfied. Since it is free of harsh toxic chemicals, it is very safe to use and will maintain health of hair in long run. For now, I will continue using it and will surely repurchase Indus Valley hair colour in future too.
